Here at The Abandoned Atlas Foundation, we work hard to spread awareness and connect developers to places that are historic and “at-risk” of the wrecking ball. In November 2020 we were made aware that the Menninger Clocktower in Topeka, Kansas was in danger of demolition. Not because of the shape it was in or because there was a lack of interest, but because the right person hadn’t been found. We were given special permission from SCL Health to enter the building and get footage to put together a developer search video in order to help in the effort to find the right developer.
