Where is the building now?

After being left abandoned and neglected for many years, the state’s oldest store became submerged in vegetation. Sixth generation, Chrissy Dickkmeyer has set out a mission to save her family’s piece of history that predates Oklahoma statehood by fifty-seven years. They have since cleaned up a lot of debris around and inside the property, as well as taken care of the overgrown brush that once hid the log cabin. Now Chrissy and volunteers are taking on cleaning up the nearby family cemetery and gathering donations for the bigger tasks of the project. THIS IS WHERE WE CAN COME IN.

PLEASE RSVP by signing up (Click HERE)!

There are many things to do including but not limited to:

– Cleaning / sorting items
– Gravestone Cleaning / Restoring (Family Cemetery)
– Picking up trash/debris
– Lawn Care (We will need someone to bring a push mower and or weedeater)

We will be bringing a lot of these items but if you can bring more supplies, brooms, towels, etc the more we can accomplish!

We hope to see you there! If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call or email back.
