In 2020 the Abandoned Atlas Foundation looked at its state divisions and had realized the significant Native American history that was being documented on throughout Oklahoma. Those still existing that we had the honor of documenting we felt needed to be strongly highlighted. This led to the creation of our Native American Heritage Sites Archives. At the Abandoned Atlas Foundation (AAF) our main goals are preservation and education. Through historical research articles, endangered nominations, call-to-action videos, and public outreach we pool together resources.
