YOUTUBE CHANNEL
Let us introduce you to Abandoned Atlas Foundation’s YouTube channel, a platform dedicated to showcasing the beauty and significance of abandoned buildings across America. Our goal is to bring awareness to the stories behind these incredible structures and inspire individuals to preserve and bring them back to life.
With Michael Schwarz, the Host & President of Abandoned Atlas, as your guide, you’ll discover the rich history and cultural impact of these once-beautiful buildings. Through our powerful storytelling, we aim to showcase their past glory, abandonment, and the efforts / hope to revive them. Through these Micro-Documentaries, we aim to help them find a new developer if one is needed. Our videos are a tribute to the architecture, historical significance, and the community they once belonged to.
We believe that each abandoned building (Within reason) deserves a second chance and a new life. By joining us, you can be part of our mission to inspire people to take action and preserve these significant sites. Let us explore the hidden beauty of America’s forgotten buildings together, and together we can make a difference.

Founding Principles
Our Values
Preservation is the biggest goal for AAF, working with outside organizations such as Preserve Arkansas & Preserve Oklahoma to help ensure the future and safety of our history. Through volunteer events we can help bring these buildings back to life by providing lawn maintenance, securing locations, painting, cleanup, and much more.
Preservation
Our team’s passion for abandoned buildings and history goes back to 2009 when Abandoned Oklahoma was started to educate people on the importance of these places through history and photographs. Since then we have expanded across three states and have a team of over fifteen members.
Education
We strive to not only educate people about the history of these buildings but also about why and how they can be saved. While working together with local news outlets and the community we put out the word to gather volunteers and potential investors to save properties.
